BAAN MANEEYA Design Project, owned by Mr. Patit, features a modern tropical-style house that perfectly combines simplicity, coolness, and contemporary architectural design, seamlessly blending with the natural atmosphere of the tropics. The design creates a sense of openness, spaciousness, and everyday comfort. Key elements include large windows, skylights, and open spaces that allow natural light to enter appropriately while promoting effective air circulation throughout the home. This not only enhances comfort but also supports energy efficiency and helps reduce humidity.
The designer selected warm colors such as brown, gray, white, and earth tones hues that are easy on the eyes, blend harmoniously with nature, and remain timeless without becoming dull over time. The layout emphasizes an orderly and simple arrangement of functions while incorporating natural elements in a seamless way, whether through the use of wood, stone, or materials that replicate natural textures.
In addition, great importance is placed on maximizing natural light and ensuring good ventilation, allowing residents to feel cool and comfortable indoors without relying heavily on air conditioning. Another highlight of this house is the seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces including balconies, terraces, and small gardens creating the feeling that usable space extends beyond the walls of the house.
